Still the case for 6.3.1.2 on Gentoo.
Disabling OpenGL with Alt-F12 etc as mentioned above does not apply / work
here.
FYI: When I run my X session with startx instead of lighdm + openbox then the
menu is shown! I haven't figured out, why.
