Bug ID: 127878
Summary: Sidebar button to open dialog with further options is
too small and vague on iOS
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: iOS
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In the sidebar on iOS we have small rectangular buttons which can be used to
open the dialog that contains further options.
Those rectangular buttons have at least the following problems:
* from a UX perspective they don't indicate what their purpose is
* they are too small to be used with a finger
* they don't have the same background as the "header bar" of the section (which
is a gray gradient)
Please also see the attached screenshots.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a writer document in the iOS app
2. Open the sidebar
3. Check the little rectangular button in the header bar of each sidebar
section
Actual Results:
A button is used with the issues described in the description.
Expected Results:
The button should follow the same UX approach as other apps. I propose to have
a button with three dots. I'll add an example screenshot of an other app.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
