--- Comment #3 from Regina Henschel <[email protected]> ---
The problem is still in Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: b2d8093b19642038631dfb8f1ab6745a380a652c
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-09-23_22:42:37
Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded
There exists only "from left" to set a distance for the position. Therefore I
think, that it is correct to use "from left" in the meaning of "in writing
direction". We might discuss, whether other wording than "left" and "right"
should be used.
I see a documentation issue:
The help for 'text direction' for the page layout has the text "The
"right-to-left (vertical)" text flow direction rotates all layout settings to
the right by 90 degrees, except for the header and footer." But the help of the
Position&Size dialog does not mention, that the layout is depending on text
direction and will automatically change, when the text direction is changed.
