I tested using the msi and graphical installer:
+ If I leave the "Create Desktop shortcut" box ticked, the installer runs in to
an error and reverts the whole installation. If the installation was an update
from a previous version, I am left without any installation at all.
+ If I uncheck the "Create Desktop shortcut" box, the installer runs through
without a problem.
