          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 57210
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: : Feature Request:: Better interpretation of formulas
                    including numbers containing commas.
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.6.3.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description: : If I enter a formula in Calc and it includes commas in
the numbers, Calc just puts “Err:509” in the cell. In MS Excel, it brings up a
warning and offers to correct it by removing the commas, only requiring
clicking “ok”.

Expected behavior: Calc should have a similar time-saving feature. The problem
is common when copying and pasting lots of comma containing numbers from other
sources (i.e. PDFs) into Calc formulas, and an Excel like quick fix option
instead of just an error would save much time.
