steps to reproduce:
- open attached spreadsheet
- select B2:B5
- Menu Insert->Chart
- [Next]
- [Next]
- Data Series: Select "ColumnA"
- Data ranges: Select "Name"
- Range for Name: enter "HelloWorld"
but i think, only cell ranges are allowed for input
