I realise this report is for Linux, but I have a similar problem with:
Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1 (x64)

Locale: en-US (en_DK); UI-Language: en-US

Procedure:
1. Help->Restart in Safe Mode
2. Choose "Continue in Safe Mode"
Result:
1. Starts in Safe mode.
2. No obvious way to return to "Normal mode"
Expect: Obvious way to return to "Normal mode"
