--- Comment #31 from Dominik <[email protected]> --- (In reply to comment #30) > Just a follow-up: for LibreOffice v 3.6.2.1 (Build ID: ba822cc) on Mac OS X > 10.7.something, I've found a successful workaround (provided you have > MacPorts installed, or can be bothered to install it > [http://www.macports.org/install.php]). > > > THE WORKAROUND: Install 'pstoedit' from MacPorts. > > > Note that this pulls ImageMagick in as as dependency, so I don't know for > sure whether 'pstoedit' or ImageMagick solves the problem. I just want to > document this clearly here for any Mac users, to ease the pain of not having > EPS support in LO "as shipped." I tried this and it did not work for me. I still have the same problem with my eps images (from MATLAB) not exporting from Draw. I did find that going through the OS X print dialog and saving as PDF kept the images properly. However, I'll need to create a new printer that lets me print the correct size (4'x6') before sending to IT for poster printing. This is a really annoying bug!
