Re: your test, I zoomed in to 800% so I could see detail and put a 0.01cm red
line around a test image. The line looked of equal width on all 4 edges and
showed no gap between the image and the line.

I then zoomed out to 600%. At this zoom level a gap was seen on the bottom
edge, between the image and the line. All lines were present and appeared to be
of equal width.

At 500%, the line hugs the entire image, but the right and bottom lines are
slightly (but noticeably) thicker than the lines on the top and left.

At 400%, gap is seen on bottom and right. The thickness discrepancy is similar
to 500%, but much more pronounced.

At 300%, gap only seen between image and right line. Thickness discrepancy
remains.

At 200%, gap seen at bottom.

At 100%, lines are so small it's hard to judge.


(Repro'd using LO 3.4.4 on ubuntu 11.10)
