Just to be sure, if you launch Writer, just type "test" then try to save in
local hard disk, it fails I suppose?
If you launch Wordpad (from Windows), just type "test" then try to save in
local hard disk, it doesn't fail?
Did you retrieve LO from official website
(https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/)?
What's your Windows version?
Have you got some antivirus installed? If yes, could you disable it temporarily
and give it a new try?
