Is it a behavior you noticed from a specific LO version or from a specific change you made? Not sure, if you ask my own opinion, i think must be a problem on how base save the files. I saw a strange behavior on as soon LO freez the base file is 0kb, then jump to it normal size but still freeze.. so if you close or force by kill the process the base is corrupted most of times.. not sure if that helps in something. at this moment i'm testing without the mysql connector to check if that is the cause of this.
