It appears to be linked to the last opened document window size. When creating
a new document from the StartCenter or the Dock, the window size takes the
default, and the colour extends all the way across. Expanding the window size,
e.g. to fill available screen space, doesn't cause the colour fill to be
redrawn. If I open a new Writer document from the existing one, the fill colour
extends all the way over to correspond to the window size.
