The menus in Writer and Calc, have little arrows at top and bottom, and do NOT
show the full menu.
Tools->Options does not provide an option to enable showing "full menus".
In Microsoft Word XP (2002/3) I can enable "Show Full Menus" option by going to
Tools->Options->View and clicking something like "always show full menus".
I googled, and found this page
http://www.taming-openoffice-org.com/newsite/?page_id=24
showing this old option:
"Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > View, select Inactive menu items"
which option does not appear to be present in libreoffice!
This is a most frustrating experience!
