            Bug ID: 129692
Summary: Can't input Japanese(2-byte character) on desktop PCs.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer Web
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: satoshi.in...@courio-city.com

Description:
Until now, in a Japanese environment, there was a problem that Japanese input
was not possible with a smartphone.
LOKit ver. 6.2-2, Loolwsd ver. 4.2.2. When I updated to this version, the
Japanese input problem was reversed. I became able to input Japanese on a
smartphone, but I could not input Japanese on a desktop PC(Mac/Windows10).
Particularly problematic is "Writer".

Japanese input consists of two words, vowels and consonants. The latest version
ignores consonant input.

I have tried multiple web browsers and multiple IMEs on both Mac and Windows. I
can't type Japanese properly at all.

This is a fatal problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer by Desktop PC's web browsers.
2. Input Japanese.
3. Register characters from conversion candidates.

Actual Results:
Japanese input:
"KonNiChiWa" (The meaning in English is HELLO)

Expected Results:
Recognized characters:
"kncw"

That is, only vowels are recognized.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes
