Update.
Ahhh, OK, it seems it is not a bug.
For Writer, I have had a custom template that was set as the default one.
For Calc, I haven't had custom template.
As I know discovered, when you save a template (or document), the language is
remembered inside and therefore takes precedence.
When you perform the described test when both Writer and Calc are launched
though the templates, the behavior is consistent.
