Bug ID: 129911
Summary: Index: highlighted footnote does not appear in "Insert
Index Entry" dialog when updated
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]

Writer file with footnotes and alphabetical index
Open the attached Writer file.
1. Use the Search and replace dialogue (Ctrl + H) to highlight the word
"Juvenal" in the footnotes of page 1.
2. Open the "Insert Index entry" dialogue and press the "Update entry from
selection" button.
EXPECTED RESULT: The word "Juvenal" should appear in the "Entry" field.
ACTUAL RESULT: The "Entry" field remains blank.
The workaround is to re-highlight the text manually (by double-clicking, say)
before pressing "Update entry from selection".
