Well, sorry for that comment. Too generic for this case.
This issue is related, but there is more.
Using the find bar, you don't find content that you can see, because there is a
setting (Ctrl+H under options) that you don't see in the search bar, nor have
influence on, that setting does affect how Ctrl+F works.
There is a risk that users are not aware, and make mistakes.
But then, how to solve this?
- an option in the find bar :\
- remember settings from the search & replace dialog
- an (expert) setting that one has to know?
