Can you please provide more information about your computer environment? To
find out this information, go to the "Help" menu in LibreOffice and select the
"About LibreOffice" option. I have attached mine as an example.

After replicating the steps in my Linux environment, I experience no lag.
However, the newly created PDF file is unable to be opened.
