I regularly create business letters on LO Writer, using a standard JPEG as
background for the first page to provide letterhead information, and typing the
letter content in a suitable format to fit around the letterhead graphics. On
completion I export to PDF and then send the PDF off as an attachment to a
covering e-mail.
This process has worked beautifully for many recent versions of LO, but with
3.6.3 the letterhead graphics are lost in export. (The formatting of the typed
content is not disturbed.)
