The IFilter interface [1], we do the legacy thing and link a persistent handler
with the app module, while for newer implementations IIUC they merge. So,
having the ooofilt.dll associated with the persistant handler looks correct.
You'd need to look for the MS Office filter GUID pairs, the CLSID for the
odffilter.dll and the GUID for the file type (MS Office defines at least the
three in comment 4).
What is also confusing is how to force a change in the filter module that the
Windows shell uses for search, and more importantly how to 'repair' the
LibreOffice filters when for some reason the index does not build with them.
