Priority: medium
Bug ID: 57748
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Headless convert-to PDF has incorrect character
spacing (but is fine on GUI mode)
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.3.2 release
Component: Printing and PDF export
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 70846
--> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=70846&action=edit
test case: input pptx file (p5.pptx) and resulting pdf file (p5.pdf)
When using headless convert-to pdf, the resulting PDF file is sometimes
incorrectly formatted. The characters are incorrectly spaced (some too close
together, others too far apart).
The file is correctly formatted when converted in the full GUI mode.
The attached files show the problem. Please examine the words "Industrial",
"Units high", and others in the PDF versus the pptx input file.
Steps to reproduce:
/opt/libreoffice3.6/program/soffice --headless --convert-to pdf p5.pptx
