--- Comment #14 from Alex Thurgood <ipla...@tuta.io> ---
I'm afraid this bug report is a little bit hard to read, so I might have tested
incorrectly.

1) I downloaded LO_test_3.odt and LO_test_3.ods.
2) Opened both in

Version: 6.4.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 4d7e5b0c40ed843384704eca3ce21981d4e98920
Threads CPU : 4; OS : Mac OS X 10.15.3; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: osx;
Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Langue IHM : fr-FR
Calc: threaded

3) Selected a range of cells containing values in the Calc sheet and then Cmd-V

4) Switched to Writer document, then Paste > Paste Special > LO Calc sheet at
some random point on the page

5) Observed the result.

6) The paste special operation into Writer did not produce an error message.

By default, the inserted object is incorrectly displayed with black overlay
over at least some of the content instead of displaying the complete grid and
associated values. Is that the issue that is being reported here ? If so, I can
confirm.

I can't confirm any error message.
