This is an SVG export issue, slideshows are exported SVGs.
In Impress switch to slide 5, choose File -> Export, choose SVG format, then
open result SVG.
=> Characther highlight is missing.
Observed using LO 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (f32a59a52e3ee2a0a8df9bb76bc1ff0ada7c7f1d) /
Ubuntu.
