Priority: medium
Bug ID: 57948
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Charts are not displayed from .docx
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.4.3 rc
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Linux Mint: 14
LibreOffice: Version 3.6.4.3 (Build ID: 2ef5aff)
This is the original .docx sent to me by someone using Microsoft Office (I'm
not sure which version). Most of the document displays fine, but I've noticed
that the charts are not shown (I am assuming these are charts and not images,
as the other images are shown fine)
I have tested it on my Android phone using Polaris Office and the charts are
displayed as intended. Please see screenshot here:

[LO_nocharts.docx]
Here is a list of the charts that should be displayed:
- Page 8, above 'Online Radio Focus'
- Page 10, above 'Industry Outlook'
- Page 10, above 'Number of Establishments'
- Page 13, above paragraph starting 'Social context is key for...'
- Page 13, above 'Online Concert Sales'
- Page 14, above 'Electronic Music Demographic Focus'
... there are more, but I guess that is enough for now.
I'm not sure if this is the same bug as
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40594, so I will post as a new bug
if it helps at all. I also note that the poster says there are enough line
breaks/space that would be occupied by the chart - this is not the case for me.
