Priority: medium
Bug ID: 57998
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Standard dictionary
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.4.3 rc
Component: Linguistic
Product: LibreOffice
LibreOffice Writer underlined a word with a red line. I right-clicked it and I
added it to the dictionary.
1. When I reran Libreoffice, the word was underlined again. I went to the
language settings and I saw that the standard dictionary was unchecked. I
checked it and it remained ticked for all the next runs of LibreOffice. Please,
have standard dictionary enabled by default if it contains words. An average
user, in all likelihood, wouldn't be able to find the source of this "problem".
2. I wanted to delete the word from the standard dictionary. I did so. I opened
again the Language settings and confirmed that the word was removed. Then, I
closed LibreOffice and opened it again. To my surprise, the word had appeared
again in the standard dictionary.
Thank you
