Your workaround contains two steps. Can you please try to
1: change the file type to wmv and include it via menu AND
2: do not change the file type but drag the AVI file into the presentation
(instead of using the menu for inserting)
After trying these two alternatives, please let us know which of them has fixed
the problem. Thank you.
