No in the Character... dialog, the preview of the font effect responds to the
size of the font as set on document canvas. Simply enlarge the font to see the
shape. Final resolution of the effect on canvas could probably be improved,
think Unicode combining diacritic might be a better approach for these effects
rendered to canvas. See bug 131752
