I went to bug 97939 first, because it more accurately describes my situation,
but it has been marked as a duplicate of this bug...
I can't paste /anything/ from an outside program into LO Writer, let alone the
previous clipboard contents.
Pasting the same Ctrl+C content into gedit works as expected.
Ubuntu 18.04, LO 6.2.8.2, for whatever that's worth.
