          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 58072
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: scale width not honored in text boxes
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.6.4.3 rc
         Component: Drawing
           Product: LibreOffice

Created attachment 71255
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=71255&action=edit
bugdoc with scale width set at 150%

Steps to reproduce:
1/ open a new empty Draw document
2/ from drawing toolbar, create a text box and type some text inside
3/ select the text and go to menu Format > Character > Position tab
4/ in scale width define something different from 100%, 150% for example
5/ You can see that the preview changes and shows a text with a larger width
6/ validate ==> nothing happens, the text looks the same as with scale 100%
7/ save your document
8/ open the document with LO 3.5.7 ==> it looks as expected.

This behavior can be observed in LO 3.6.4.3, LO 3.6.5.0+, LO 4.0beta1 and the
master (Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID:
782c243045a1c7ee95b2d7ea6bca64812a9049e))

Additionally, in LO 4.0 beta1 and the master, scale width is under "Rotation"
instead of "Scaling" in the Position tab of the Character Format dialog.
I do not know if it is related.

Best regards. JBF
