I've also been seeing this bug for a few years (one of the bugs that forces me
to use Google Spreadsheet, even for just manipulating a local file). I can
reproduce this on
Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
libreoffice-calc 6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.10
I'm on a HiDPI display with 200% scaling.
