Please keep in mind LXDE (GTK2) is not really supported any more. People are
advised to switch to LXQt instead.
LibreOffice has removed its GTK2 VCL rendering. And GTK3 in a GTK2 env
sometimes creates interaction issues. That's may be the reason of your issue.
;) Someone at Debian may have found the problem you encountered and fixed it ;)
