Björn Michaelsen <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME --- Comment #4 from Björn Michaelsen <[email protected]> --- I strongly recommend against using upstream packaging esp. when expecting any system integration. If you want system integration on *ubuntu, use the distro-packages at: https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/libreoffice-prereleases https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa I will try to move as much as possible from the packaging logic upstream (please see and support https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/desktop-r-reboot-libreoffice-packaging), but as you can see the blueprint is marked as low priority, because there are more pressing issues. If you cant find a backport for your distro at the ppa above, its a much better idea to help backporting the existing ones than to try the upstream packages (see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LibreOfficePackaging#Backporting). Using the upstream packages made quite a bit of sense in the wild days of go-oo with all its patching madness, but it doesnt anymore as there is a well-defined and small set of essential adaption in the Ubuntu/Debian packaging by now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
