It does indeed look like an odd word ;-) Perhaps my google is customised for me too much somehow, but anyhow - putting 'bibisect' there gives me a #1 hit of: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/HowToBibisect Quite a big download is required, but then hopefully with only a dozen tests we can get very close to the one patch out of tens of thousands that causes the issue - which makes it immeasureably easier to fix (normally).
