Starting LibreOffice with command line:
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 libreoffice6.4
reproduces the issue.
So, Base remains very slow and is not usable under this configuration.
I switched back to LibreOffice-6.3.5.2 the last version before all the trouble.
