Hi Bernhard, Thanks for the report and the patch.
The issue of building with new poppler has been reported as bug 131353, so I'm
marking this as a DUPLICATE. Unfortunately that bug seems to be stuck with the
original reporter's reluctance to provide a full license statement.
I don't know how to proceed as I'm not a developer, but please have further
discussion in that bug.
