Other apps on the machine such as Adobe Acrobat bring up the normal printer dialog with all the options for duplexer, print quality etc. Open office also brings up the same dialogs, but LibreOffice has its own dialogs which leave out these important options. All that to say that LibreOffice is the only app that has an issue like this. The dialogs in LO look very similar to the preference pages.
