Tried on another win7 system LibreOffice 7b1 pasted from Slimjet (chrome fork)
and it took a whilst but succeeded.
So perhaps a fresh win7 install on my main machine would fix the problem, in
the meantime if I'm desperate to paste a big table from the web then my slow
laptop can do it!
