Problem description:
When editing an original doc-file, changes are not recorded. Even after saving
the file in odt-format, recording of changes are not visible.
Shutting down LiblO did not help, so did rebooting of the PC.
Doc-file was created on a Mac.
Steps to reproduce:
1 – Opening mac created doc-file by double-clicking the email attachement
2 – Saving as doc-file
3 – Edit/Changes/Record
4 - Doing changes in the doc-file is not recorded – neither for adding new
text nor deleting text
5 – Saving doc-file as odt-file: Saves As / format: odt/ enter
6 - Doing changes in the odt -file is not recorded – neither for adding new
text nor deleting text
7 – Shutting down and restarting LibO
8 – Double-clicking on doc-file name to open
9 – Edit/Changes/Record
10 - Doing changes in the doc-file is not recorded – neither for adding new
text nor deleting text
11 – Double-clicking on odt-file name to open
12 – Edit/Changes/Record
13 - Doing changes in the doc-file is not recorded – neither for adding new
text nor deleting text
14 – Shutting rebooting PC
15 – Rrepeated steps 8-13: no difference to results of 8-13
16 – Opening new writer document all works
Current behavior:
For original doc-files recording of changes does not work even when saved as
odt file
Expected behavior:
For all file types recording of changes should work
