This is not Skia-specific. I can reproduce both the drawing problems and
slowness with other drawing backends as well. And LO 6.4 works fine in both
regards, so this is most likely a recent regression, so it would be nice if
somebody could bisect this. Brief profiling points to this group of commits as
the possible culprits:
