I've also come here to request MSIX for LibreOffice as a recent convert to the
format. What I like about it is that you can install applications without being
a local administrator. And, if multiple users install the same package, the
installation files become centralized and shared automatically between accounts
which saves disc space.
I'm accustomed to using Add-AppxPackage. But, if the project adopts this
format, you might test using App Installer which allows users to double-click
on MSIX packages.
