I've just discovered something:
In Microsoft Windows, the default photo viewing program depicts the image with
the transparent object on it as dimmer than the original.
In my Firefox browser, that same image is blanched compared to the original.
Regardless how viewed, the loss of detail is apparent.
Regardless how created, the intensity and tone of the colors shouldn't change.
