Priority: medium
Bug ID: 58657
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: ACCESSIBILITY: Inappropriate libreoffice icon
highlighted in launcher panel
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.4.3 release
Component: UI
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When we open any 2 or more libreoffice sub-application like (writer & impress)
or (calc & draw) or any 2 or more, the application which is opened 1st is only
highlighted by 2 or more dots (depending no. of files opened)
Steps to reproduce:
1. open any calc file ... (notice that in launcher there will be one white dot
seen on icon of calc)
2. Now open any other say, writer file (now we expect that in launcher, there
should be one white dot near writer icon, but surprisingly you will find there
is additional dot on previously opened calc icon but no white dot near writer
icon)
3. now if you keep on increasing no. of files opened with libreoffice,
regardless of those are base, draw, calc, writer of impress files ; you will
find only calc icon is populated with white dot
Current behavior:
Expected behavior:
I expect the icon appropriate to the application should be highlighted. so that
its easier for me to switch between applications & also its less confusing if I
see that e.g. I have 2 files open of calc, 3 of writer & 5 of impress ... with
appripriate no of dots near each respective icon, rather than just crowding 10
dots near calc icon only.
I hope that you understand what I mean.
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 3.6.4.3 release
