Same on debian x64.
It could be a x86 related bug ( have different implementations on basic
typechars), but I know the starmath parser pretty well and don't see where cold
be an error.
Could be a font error ( a composed surrogated error )?
Please, if possible tell me your win version and the fonts you're using on LO
math.
