I confirm the described behaviour, but I don't think it is a bug, because, if
you press apply, position of text will change, if it is affected by the tab
setting. So "Apply" refers to the text itself but not to the ruler.

Feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRMED with a short reasoning, if you
disagree.
