Sorry, I did not see your attachment. So you were pasting string "12:30:00"
from Notepad and get "'12:30:00" in LO' text-box?

I tried this on OS X and typed same text into a Writer document and then tried
pasting it into Calc (3.6.4.1). Got "2) 12:30:00" and that was because I firste
typed manually string "12:30:00" at the end of a second list entry in an
already existing text, than selected that with mouse and copy&pasting it into a
Calc cell. This happened both with normal and format-less pasting, which means
that copy does suck some kind of formatting info from the text as well.

When you pasted that was there some kind of apostrophe in your notepad text
file?
