LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice are 2 softwares.
LibreOffice is a fork of Apache OpenOffice.
Your problem could be due to an antivirus, what antivirus do you use?
Did you download LO from official website?

To solve this, I think the simplest thing is indeed to uninstall your current
version, download last LO version 6.4.6 and install this one.
