            Bug ID: 135871
Summary: Highlighting no fill is not the same as no fill; there
is still direct formatting present according to
                    paragraph style
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Highlighting no fill is not the same as no fill; there is still direct
formatting present according to paragraph style

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached file
2. Double click the hello paragraph style; notice a part being excluded
3. Undo
4. Highlight some text; say first sentence
5. Remove the highlighting by setting no fill
6 Apply the style again

Actual Results:
No fill is seen as direct formatting

Expected Results:
This is generating confusing results. I always assumed no fill to remove
highlighting not as a variant of direct formatting. This might make sense if
you're working with styles and you want to unhighlight something.. but if so a
new option is needed.

Clear highlighting (similar clear direct formatting)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
