Reporter's sample contains several cells with Spaces in it, these cells cause the error message. Replacing all spaces by nothing ('Find & Replace') heals the problem. I'm not up to date what the latest decisions are concerning this compatibility problems. I doubt that Fix for "Bug 44720 - compatibility options for older spreadsheets ... " will heal this problem (I even cna't find that setting).
