My screenshot would look exactly like the one you created. As you can see in
that sample, the %irho and -epsilon are indeed Times New Roman, italic, but the
%varrho and -epsilon is of a quite different font, rather something like
OpenSymbol. It seems that %var is not responding to the preferred font.
