Allow me to disagree.
First, terminal emulators and their "UIs" rather aren't a good case here.
Then, every major browser (Chrome, Firefox) has an option to regulate at least
the UI font size, be it through a configuration setting or an addon.
Working in word processor means even more looking at menus - and that procedure
should be made as convenient as possible.
